Identical Chess Games at Master Level

Has there ever been an identical chess game at master level? 

Just wondering.

both players masters, or just 1.  I believe there is an early repetition in the zaitzev variation that has probably been played multiple times...

I was thinking of both masters, but one if it wasn't a trap or something. I was more interested in seeing moves that were genuinely played out and just by some coincidence also played out by another set of people. It seems like a hugely unlikely possibility both probabilitywise and also because masters tend to study each others games and thus improve on the positions.

Estrin-Berliner 5th corr. World championship 1965-8 and Lopukin-Semeniuk Cheliabinsk 1975 mirrored for 28 moves through a crazy position... will post the mirrored portion...

Haha lego, I was more interested in games with more than no moves lol. Anyways tazerdadog the game was very interesting. You would think especially with such a position if masters were prepared they would have at least though about Be2 twice preventing the Queen from recapture. And if this game was played without prepration I'll say that the repeated moves is quite incredible. Besides that the position looks very complicated, at least to me. 

White did not deliberately enter that ending, so white a least in the second game was unpepared.  There is also a repitition in the Closed ruy lopez, Flohr-Zaitzev variation (9...Bb7) that leads to a repetitoin on move 11.It has probably been played by masters multiple times, although I can't find a database to check...

Well if it's a theoretical opening I'm assuming there would be plenty of identical first few moves like I believe some variations of Ruy Lopez got into moves 20+. I was wondering if after that masters continued on with the same play, preferrably to the end or just a few moves before the end. 

Many prearranged grandmaster draws are identical.

You could probably add Game 2 of Fischer-Spassky '72 to that list :P

There are a number of openings that head to forced draw by repetition. The oxford variation of the Vienna game, for example. They get repeated a lot.

Ofcourse there are pre arranged draws in chess and I don't have a problem with that as long as its not the top pros doing it. I have had a few myself and dont know anyone who hasnt if they have been playing tournament chess as long as I have. 

Thanks for your comments, but for those about the opening as I said before I do know people play the same openings for the first many lines, even I go quite a few lines deep with repetitive openings. What I was referring to was repeated games in which after past opening theory we have the same games. 

At move 30 you are no longer in the "opening" , but many openings have been analyzed into the middlegame and even the endings that arise from certain openings are well analyzed. 

I guess I did not specify myself correctly, I was just looking if there were any games that out of theoretical analyzations had repeated moves throughout the whole game or majority of it. Something that could perhaps just happen with random probability from the millions of games played.
