I've just had a look at it - it recommends a hedgehog-y opening set-up, with both bishops fianchettoed, pawns on b3, d3, e3 and g3, and knights on e2 and d2 (or the corresponding squares for B). If you wanted to give it a name, it would be a double fianchetto opening, or a variant in the Modern Defence, or something.
Fair enough, if you like that sort of thing, and I've played people who do. But it's (of course) noteworthy that the annotated games have a lot of things like 'and went on to win the R+p ending' or 'and then developed a strong attack'. Yeah - there's no way round this one; sooner or later you have to start thinking.
Maybe this has been already discused on this forum, but anyway....i have found ebook titled The begginers game in which the author claims that he invented the optimal way of playing chess...one of the greatest discoveries at all,not only in chess. Those are his own words.Even if you hate chess, you will learn the basic principles of this system in a few minutes,if you devote only couple of hours to it,you will be almost like a GM.He stated, that he played hundreds of games against the strongest engines, winning most of the games, drawing the others.I tried it against the easiest level of shredder chess...and got crushed. If you are interested, here is the link, where you can download this book for free,
