If you take a piece, then any piece that that piece has taken out gets to go back into the game, just like dodgeball!
Whenever you have three bishops on adjacent squares (you will need to under promote), you can use a god power, by shaking the board. Any pieces that are knocked over are taken out of the game. Losing the king this way does not indicate a loss, instead that player cannot be checkmated.
Once in a game when it's your turn, you can transform one of the opponent's pawns into a spy, where he changes his color and moves like it's one your owns beginning from the next turn onward (it still can promote on the 8th rank, too).

I'd like to be able to take my own piece. Sometimes, a piece can get in the way of material gain or checkmate...
After checkmating, you can choose to continue the game. In other words, you can TAKE the king. You still win if your opponant checkmates you, but if you capture all of the pieces you get bragging rights ;)

On the first move white can move his pawns only 1 square and must not move with a knight.
That is to eliminate the first-move-advantage!
Maybe have 2 or 3 squares that you can add to the side of the board when you want too! place a square on the side to be the "i" file haha
