If you could permanently ban one opening from the game, which would it be?

I would delete the Sicilian Defense because honestly, I’m just tired of having to memorize twenty lines of deep engine theory just to survive past move five as White.

By the way, OP, you do not have to memorize 20 lines of deep theory, especially not on your level. Just learn an anti sicilian like the Alapin, Closed Sicilian, Rossolimo or Canal Opening. Those avoid mainline theory.
