I'm doing the math on leagues, and it might be a while for Champions

Right now, there's a tad under 76,000 Silver league participants, I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say there will be 78,000 Silver league participants at the end of the week.

Then this number will be cut down to at least 7900 Crystal players.  I'm including ties.

Now elite only 3 in 50 Crystal players will escape.  That amounts to 474 players.  I'll include 480 for ties.

So now we have 480 Elite players.  Again, only 3 in 50 are going to make it.  Including ties that amounts to 75 players.  

So, 75 players make Champion.  Well then, only 1 in 50 make it out of this.  So, let's say two make it out.

So, does that mean that legends will have to wait until it hits 50 before it gets activated?

If so, it might be months before the final league gets finalized.

The first possible week for Champion division, there will be 20-30 players, but probably closer to 25. It will take an additional week, potentially two, for the first division to fill out and likely will be the only full one.

When that fills, the contest ends at the completion of that week, so most likely four more weeks until the contest ends. For Legend league, it will be a while before there are a significant number of members for the site to hold events for that group.

Depending on what's actually planned, they may not actually need a full division there. Based on the details, there will be a club and any events will probably be held that way.

These people are presumably all at the top of their divisions. It would be nice to be able to easily see who is still fighting for a spot.

I guess all the real fighting is at around spot # 7600.

If they are at close to 1100 now, they can probably add another 400 to 500 points over the next two days.

The problem with that method is that some if those members are in the same divisions and will bump others out, and some divisions may be led by players way down the list.

I don't know how some of the top players in the list manage to have the time to play that much. I'm struggling in crystal and don't know how I managed to get that far.
