Immortal Game?
A game of fantastic brilliance, usually involving a sacrificial attack or a highly original concept. The term was first used by Austrian player Ernst Falkbeer to describe the game Anderssen - Kieseritzky, London, 1851. If you haven't seen this game look it up. Other examples are 'The immortal zugzwang game', Sämisch - Nimzowitsch, Copenhagen, 1923, or 'Kasparov's immortal game', Kasparov - Topalov, Wijk aan Zee, 1999.
