Impossible to claim a 3-position repetion on Chess.com

It's automatic. If it didn't happen, it wasn't a threefold repetition.

Then if it happens, the game will automatically claim as @notmtwain stated.

I have had a quick look at your game and although a position has repeated three times it has not done so with the same side to move. A very important part of the 3-rep rule.

The game is clearly drawn as you have "the opposition". If your opponent does not accept your draw offer you will have to keep playing until you do actually create a 3-fold rep.

It would be great if the site gave it a draw. Seems like a huge waste of time....I would understand if it was a blitz match or even rapid. But, each move gets one day. Neither side will blunder in this position.

The site will when a valid draw condition is met.

I would be very annoyed if the site arbitrarily decided to declare any match of mine a draw when it was not drawn according to the rules of chess.
The only waste of time here is the two players not agreeing between themselves to draw the game.

Yes, I'm not understanding why they aren't agreeing to it. Strange. Oh, well. It's none of my problems. Peace out.

Post the moves when the same exact position occurred 3 times.

Damned! The same side to move! I totally forgot about that. Never happened to me before. Interesting, thanks! So the name of the rule should change: it is not about a 3-fold position repetion at all, but about a 3-fold position and turn to move repetion.
