a, come one, can nobody help me??
In search for a chess hero that combines the Kings Gambit and the Benko
Bronstein won his first game on Zurich Candidates 1957 with a Benko, not sure if he played it often (he called it a variant of KID). And a lot of KG's as white, of course.

This. Bronstein played both openings... although he's better known for his King's Gambits than for the occasional Benko.
The problem is that the King's gambit is THE romantic opening, meaning that almost nobody played it after the 19th century, while the Benko is derivated from the Benoni, and thus is a modern opening dating back from the 30's. So I fear you won't find anybody playing both consistently.
A well known advice to aspiring chess players is to choose a hero with an opening repertoire similar to his own. I am looking for such a hero, but I can't find hem/her anywhere!
The main ingredients of my opening repertoire are Kings gambit and Open Sicilian with white and the Benko and Svesnikov Sicilian with black. I thought it to be a coherent repertoir, driven by a strive for activity and a maximization of the exposure to tactics. However finding a chess hero for this combination of openings proofs not to be easy. Of course I can take a separate hero for each opening or for 2 openings, but it feels like the most fun if there would be a single GM/IM that I could follow for every single game he plays (and have a poster of hanging above my bed :-) ).
Can anybody help me find a grandmaster who has the mentioned openings in his/her repertoire (or else 3 out of the 4 openings)?
Regards,
Tom
