Iphone - can't turn notify sound off

I just got the iphone app, which is great! But it won't stop notifying me with a sound on every single ready move, even though I have turned the notification off in the settings. Even when I don't have the chess app open im getting buzzed all the time, so I have to power my phone off at night.
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix for it?
