1100 is not above average ( STOP WITH THE STATISTICS) but commands some respect depending on which platform ur 1100 on
Because you think faster and ask anyone, daily isn't "real chess." No offense intended. But try blitz. On this site. No one respects daily players. When you first join chess.com. Ur rating is already 1200-1600 by default.

IMO Daily is a better indication of ability than blitz and especially bullet. Stronger players will tend to respect Daily more than weaker ones. I played a lot of it at one time to improve my analytical abilities and it did mean that my otb ability, especially in rapidplay, improved. Similarly, then I played about 6000 blitz games here and that seemed to improve my otb as well. Rejoined a local otb club for a while, this year; and won the only rapidplay Swiss I'd played in for over two decades with 5/5 and I think that was due to playing blitz and Daily here for years. It's good practice.
They wanted me to play in a local slowplay otb league and I played a couple and won both so I have a real FIDE rating again, of sorts but it's only an estimate. Decided not to play for them any more. Too much time and commitment involved.
It's not a better indication of skill actually that would be classical and blitz chess actually
Iv seen litteral 1000s and 800 elos be 2000+ In daily
How is daily an indication of skill when almost anyone can be 2000+ in daily ?
