Is analyzing moves using analysis board in 3 days chess game considered is cheating?

Its random but this has just been puzzling me.

Have been playing blitz for a while and started to play 3 days games yesterday and found out that there is actually this analysis board thingy, where you can then analyze moves by moving the pieces instead of calculating in your own head. For me this should be cheating?

I have been thinking to use it or not to use it for a while. Is this just how the game is, that in daily games, people are just analyzing using the analysis board or real chess board? Could I actually just analyze each candidate move of mine before making them?

yes, you can use it  and it's perfectly fine.

all different approaches to the game.     If you wish to simulate real type tournaments better,  you could specify for your daily games, touch move -- that you can not take back moves.

what could make more sense in your eyes and others is to allow analyzing variations with Nonrated games only !    I have learned much more from my Daily games than on-line.    at times I just avoid on-line, ( as I am currently ).

there is much to explore and enjoy / learn on this site.    Good luck !

You can use books, analysis board, databases, etc.  You CANNOT use engines.
