We are very competitive are you kidding? Chess is popular and doing well. There are scholastic leagues allover the country ensuring the future of the game. We don't need a savior. This thread has been resolved. I'm moving on now. See you around. Have fun. Enjoy the game. Chess makes me feel young.
Is Chess.com membership worth it?

If you were competitive you wouldn't accept multiple account use in rated matches. That is the joke my friend. The fact you don't take that seriously shows the world your character. But society knows you are a chessplayer, so they most likely expect such an attitude from you.
I don't know why you keep harping on this. If a few dozen streamers or a few hundred or even a few thousand do something, it won't affect the millions of average players very much.
You're a lunatic.
I would never support a site that is politizicing chess. Lichess is even worse though.
They are both authoritarian regimes way worse then Putin.
You're a lunatic.

>Uses a rainbow I-financially-support-marxism.com(chess.com) badge
>Gets butthurt when someone doesn't think Putin is literally the worst thing ever
Ah, the holy trinity......

He said Chess.com and Lichess were worse than Putin. Pay attention.

You sound a lot like Murky. 'Literally' this, 'literally' that. Duplicate account?
Lol, why the weird conspiracy theories all of a sudden? Besides, what's your point with the dictionary entry?

I know people on the int*rnet have this weird tendency of starting stupid arguments over nothing, so I won't further respond unless you manage to say something more intellectual. Downvote my posts and put thumbs down on them all you want, if that's such an adult thing to do. 🙂
But lets be honest, The real reason they do that unlike lichess, Is to inflate the account numbers for their advertisers and investors they are conning.
I gotta agree that chessdotcom inflates their membership numbers.

It would be damning if they're lying about the number of active users, 20 million, and that's the only number that really means anything. They don't close inactive accounts, that's true, but I think it can be assumed that their investors and advertisers are savvy enough to understand what that means. You probably agree with this, I wouldn't know.
Active users in the past 90 days:
Rapid: 78,480
Blitz: 121,613
Bullet: 57,801
Just my opinion, but that is no where near 20 million. Not the way that I learned math.
But lets be honest, The real reason they do that unlike lichess, Is to inflate the account numbers for their advertisers and investors they are conning. They'd rather ban people from the whole platform simply for their messages, because they know they will most likely just make another account they can call a new subscriber lol.
More full-of-yourself garbage, and don't lie... your account wasn't closed because of any 'message'.
Even if you don't believe me, many might remember countless others who were banned for their "messages" For example the girl who refused to keep making threads that karkajin should be banned from the website when repeatedly told not to. So what did they do, banned her account for abuse my friend. All Lichess did was shadowban mute her from the forums. and not for speaking about the Ukraine Russia war which is perfectly allowed there, unlike here, but because she kept criticizing the site owner. But to actually stop her from playing and privately chatting with others is pure vindictiveness and over the top and invites abuse 10 fold.
What Erik has let Danny and other convince him to do here is, build a community full of children and crazy old people. Noone else would dare comment here.
The site has always tried to keep the forums civil. Some people refuse to abide by the relatively simple rules that are in place. They find their accounts muted or closed.

Does this include puzzle, vs comp and variants? Because honestly, ~250k active players in 3 months time in the top 3 time controls sound a bit too underwhelming, that's just 1% of the 20mil.
And on another note, seems like another alt account bites the dust, eh?!
Those numbers were those rated higher than me. The totals weren't where I found them last time I looked.

I don't understand how you could have confused your site ranks with the total number of active players.

Some things are hard to understand.
As a blitz opponent said to me on ICC 20 years ago, "speed kills". I was in a hurry and did not find the data where it has been in the past.
I was filling hollow plastic pieces with plaster of paris and felting the bottoms before you were born. You have no idea how devoted I am to this game.
