Is e+Books free app e+Chess still available please?

Hello

I'm fairly new to Chess.com and to online chess generally.

I've been trying to find e+Books free app "e+Chess" with no success. Either going from the links on the eplusbook.com website or by searching the Apple App Store or via the Apple iTunes Store I always get the result that "The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK store" or in the USA store.

I particularly want this app because it comes with an interactive copy of Capablanca's "Chess Fundamentals".

I am trying to find it with my MacBook Pro and I wonder if this is the reason I can't find it - because, as I understand it, e+Chess is not compatible with OSX, I would need an iPad or iPhone to use it. I am thinking about buying an iPad to use e+Chess (and for other reasons - it would be too expensive just for that alone). But I don't want to buy an iPad and then find that the e+Chess app is no longer available.

Can someone tell me if the e+Chess app IS still available if I had (or get) an iPad please? Their website is still online, which suggests they are still operating?

Any help with this will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Hello notmtwain, thanks for your suggestion but I have already emailed them at that address twice. No reply so far but I live in hope!

I had meant to say so in my original post but forgot to.

The problem related with this chess service is that I bought about 40 chess ebooks using the iPad app, many books at price of 10 or 15 dollars, not cheap at all. When my iPad don´t work anymore ( I bought the device about 7 seven years ago, I think one year more it is done) I will lost all these 40 chess ebooks. This site became a legal (or ilegal) issue if it doesn´t giving any response. Today I can acess all these books yet, but what will happens when my ipad "die"? The service should provide the pdf of all books I bought, at least.
