is it better to be black or white against bots

I doubt many people have played often enough to confirm the answer to your question.

I tried playing black against Nelson and it attacked immediately with the queen.  I was able to easily stop the attack and quickly gained an advantage.

If you have faced the Wayward Queen attack often, you should not have a problem.

Idk but probably white because White starts off with an advantage cuz they have the first move but its only a slight advantage tbh it doesn’t matter.but i beat him with white.

If you are good with black and ready to make them pay with pieces to play, perhaps black is better.

Generally speaking white has the advantage but you need to be completely accurate or you'll lose it

Maybe it depends.

To win against Nelson, simply punish him for his early queen attack
If you put enough pressure, you'll either win his queen or have a huge lead in development, either way leaving you with the advantage
