Is it better to have played badly and won, or not to have played at all?

im going with playing badly. you learned something today that you would not have learned today if you didnt play.

Is is better to have played badly and won, or not to have played at all?
I played a blitz game today where my attack failed, and I fell into a messy defense. I think I learned a few key things. But along the way my opponent missed one or two mates. I won on time. Is this kind of game a learning experience, or does it make one lazy?
Lazy :)
Not that you can't learn from it.
