You have to play over-the-board rated chess to get a title to qualify for a free membership here. For the USCF, you could potentially get to 2200 and get the NM title and the fastest time control you could do that with is G/30 or longer.

G/30 is dual-rated. It is both a Quick time control and Regular rated under USCF rating regulations.
Also, I forgot to mention that the site occasionally runs some contests where members can win premium memberships as well. Follow @news or some other staff accounts that post a lot and when they have some contests maybe you can get lucky.
