hey guys is it possible to reach 1000 elo in 1 day?

Avatar of CheckOnYaLater

yes, a new player starting below 1000 Elo can realistically reach 1000 in a single day by winning a few games, because ratings adjust quickly at low levels.

Theoretically, if you start at 400 and considering the average rating gain is 8 you would theoretically need to win 120 games in a row for you to success fully finish it but if you therefore lose you shall add more games to finish so that is why i took 1 year to pass 1000 but it is theoretically possible in theoretical circumstances but if you get

theoretically banned by the mods but when they

theoretically evaluate your

theoretical elo the games drop

theoretically significantly therefore you would need

theoretically less than 120 theoretical games if you

theoretically win all of the games you reach 1000 elo and so it is

theoretically possible in the correct circumstances and if the time control to which to reach the theoretical 1000 elo is Rapid 10 plus 0 and considering it is 20 min per game let us do math 120 x 20 Is 2400 and if you nonstop play the said time control you would reach it in warning the forbidden number will be mentioned 1.66666667 days but you might do it if you rush tje

theoretical games you might have a chance of it but it is guranteed for blitz (5 plus 0 ) because 1.66666667 ÷ 2 is 0.833333335 days which is approximately and

theoretically some 20 hours, if you tilt to 400 and work back to 1000 but if it is starting you will get 1000 significantly faster in the right circumstances so gl to the guy who tilted 400😀 gridn for 20 hours.

To those wondering i said theoretical and theoretically 14 times😀

#4 no, at the beginning you get much more rating, like 100-200 per game.

Like a person who's just learned how the pieces moved reaching 1000 in a day?

I think it's possible but the person would probably have GM level talent

Avatar of Caffeineed
Sure. Just cheat. But cheat better than the cheater you are playing against
Avatar of Divanshu_O13

No, if a person is starting playing chess or is new to yes

Yes, if he already is a strong player 1500+ then he can easily within hours without even a single loss can reach 1000 rating

Avatar of kegrobobmTWO
Depends on your rating but such a crazy tilt in under 24 hours might get you banned for being a “cheater”
Avatar of liamjustthere

9# if he tilted to 400 but yes that is right i literally acknowledged that i said less than 120 games if the account just started which is absolutely boring to just leave it there so i put more time into the regular gain 400 to 1000 which is an average of 8 plus elo and when lost 8 minus elo

Divanshu_013 think again, within hours? That is only reachable by bullet and games, considering you start with a base 400. That would take 120 games without a loss. Only people like Hikaru can actually do that and i think he hasnt even reached 120 winstreak yet but im not sure. And my circumstances were entirely theoretical and almost impossible for someone who is in pressure to "within hours" in bullet reach 400 to 1000 by 120 games and knowing he could lose by time by a random flagger JUST TO REACH IT, remember Hikaru even if he reached 120 winstreak and people call it s great feat if a grandmaster actually did one in bullet. A GREAT FEAT FOR A GM. Who is significantly better at the game to a "strong 1500 player".Who knows, who knows

Isn't there high rd when you create your account tho?

You need to learn openings, if you dont learn openings, you gonna get maxed at 1000, the best site for learning is actualyl AtlasChess.me because to learn openings, you gotta remember moves, as well as understand every single one of them with text plain explainations.

Avatar of thereturnofthesnowfox

Learning openings are not needed to hit 1000.
Learning opening principles will be enough, but even that might not be necessary.

NM Robert Rameriez went from 500 to 1,100 in a chess.com authorized speed run account. It took more than 9 hours.

95 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses

So yes, it is possible but man, you really have to want to.
