Fischer was a pretty phenomenal endgame player. I think they're about equally great in that phase of the game.
I know he has a history of being a very very strong endgame player, but show me something like Karpov-Kasparov '84 or anything nearing any one of Fischer's knight runs around the entire board then we'll talk greatest of all time.
