Is my chess engine broken?

Why do you feel that your engine is broken?

This position came from a puzzle book written by a GM. Yet my computer cannot find the answer, therefore I conclude my engine might be broken. It has been acting very weird lately in general.

Interesting. My engine can't find Rc6 which is the best move. Is there another way to see if my computer engine is sub-par?

What engine are you running?

mine tells me RC6

Thanks, when you post your answers can you please tell me what engine you used?
i used stockfish 16

I don't want to say what engine I'm running, but it sounds to me like my engine sucks.
It gives 0-0 as the only move and gives it +2.10
Is it completely off base here?
Could someone possibly post some positions that might test my chess engine further?
Perhaps positions that are used to test chess computers...

I find it completely strange that you are unwilling to state what engine you are using. Giving a +2.1 evaluation after 0-0 isn't unreasonable. The only reason that I can think of that your engine didn't present 19.Rc6 is that only one variations output is being shown when you are analyzing the position. That would mean that it is a problem with the settings rather than the engine.

If it is a publicly available engine then check to see how many move-pairs deep it looks.
If it is a privately written engine then look into extending the move-pair depth (at a minimum on lines that involve captures).
