Is my stats weird?
That's nothing. So I am around 1200 - 1300 bullet player. What I find funny is that half of my opponents are 1700-2100 rapid, the other half is 500-1000 rapid. And both these groups playing equal 1200-1300 bullet games. Explain that to me....
In order to have a good blitz score ; I believe a person has to be good enough to perform everything that you're good at in longer games; instinctively!! The solid moves and reactions that you have in a longer format should be so ingrained that you do it with our much thought at all. When you can make sound decisions instantly; then your true strength will show in your blitz elo.

Why is my blitz much lower than my rapid? Am I just trash in faster time formats? I'm very used to 10/0, previous to that it was primarily 15/10 and 30min games that i would play a crap ton of. Not sure if my actual chess skills would be better off playing rapid 30min games, 15/10, 10/0, or blitz games. What time format is the best to improve chess skills? Longer time control?
