Is the achievement system broken???

I checked my achievement board and I had completed achievements for 3 Check and playing with 3D pieces, and I did not receive any achievements for it even after playing multiple games, and waiting 30 minutes.

There are some broken achievements and I think 3D Glasses is one of them

For variants achievements, those are bot currently awarded for variants played on the variants server, with the exception of 4PC. Some of those may also be broken but you haven't played 3+ on the main Play server so wouldn't have triggered the achievement.

I was wondering because I was on the main "Play" server to try to get the 960 and 3 Check achievements and it did not trigger the achievements. I had tried some other achievements and they had worked, but these I think are broken.
