is the rating system rigged?

now, i know this sounds like spam but seriously, is it? this came to my attention from a spam account, screaming about “AI gatekeepers” and “You will never get to 1000”. I have recently opened up a fresh new account for training set at the “Intermediate” preset. Already, at my first game I won. Maybe it’s because I just feel more focused than my usual blunders in my 600 blitz mindset, or are there really gatekeepers? what do you guys think?
