The body's need to cool itself down during heat means resources are diverted to regulate temperature, leaving less energy for cognitive tasks like playing chess or doing puzzles.
Is the summer heat also killing your chess?

thats strange because I thought the standard for any learning activity like classroom or high brain function activity is AC... so how come in your club they have it but don't turn on lol
I later realized after thinking about this that it's probably a bit of a chain reaction or loop... when you can't regulate the heat, you use more energy to try to think... I mean they do say you lose weight from playing chess which has been sortof proven a myth but... they still say brain can somehow burn calories... that sounds like it should create more body heat...
also use a laptop and play where there is ac
I don't have a lap top, and I really like my desk which has no AC... I've since bought two mini fans and one big fan... the combo of big fan and small fan almost feels like AC... It really helps and I feel like I found some form again! Not quite showing in the rating but atleast my feeling is better.
Thanks all for the support lol
