Hello,

I usually logs to my linux machine during the day using SSH.
I use finch and so on.

I would have like to find a command line console client to CHESS.COM

so that I can still continue to play and chat using linux ( and ssh)?

I found a non X11 game, but it has no connection to chess.com on 1-14days online chess game (email)

Best regards

Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about.

I use Linux.

Why would you try to connect accessing through ssh?

If you are a Chess.com user, then besides enjoying chess, you must enjoy computers, and for that, a real color display. Then why use a shell?

If you're a system administrator, then: Shame on you! (just kidding Wink)

Remember BOFH? Let's ask him...

I log to internet using SSH and under no X, under a linux server.

Since it is text base, I have elinks for google.com

this is the console linux :

so it has no windows, no xorg, and no X11.

Is there a way to find a client for admins? to enjoy chess.com through SSH?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. You seem to be asking how you can use a graphical system without graphics.

If you want to look at your games and make moves, you could have it pull the PGN/movelist for your game from the site with a script, display it in ASCII with a script, and submit moves but passing the right POST and GET variables (or whatever they use here). It would be absolutely silly, but you're asking about a very silly thing.

I would also like to know if there is a commandine client to chess.com - so I can play via ssh

Is there a guide for setting up cboard with chess.com?

Is there a way that I can just send my chess.com turn-based moves by postcard, instead of having to use my computer? I am "old school cool" that way.

Is there a way I can send my moves of my daily games via an awk-script, just by sending it via pipe to a demon communicating to a chess.com server? Awesome would be if the current board is saved as an imagefile saved at a specific path I can access via ftp and then filter it in my bsh. That would be awesome. I just had to use my good old vi to enter the moves of my daily games, sending the awk-script via pipe to the server and would receive the current state as a graphic. Is this possible?

Hey patrick295767

f the haters.

https://www.chess.com/news/view/published-data-api says:
"This is read-only data. You cannot send game-moves or other commands to Chess.com from this system. If you wish to send commands, you will be interested in the Interactive API releasing later this year."
