There are no women on chess.com, and if there are they will not be on the forums. Pretending to be a woman is probably the best way to get a free membership. Most people here will believe you're a woman as long as you make the effort to go to at least the second page of google images. It's ridiculous.

it's because the mods have been duped as well! How is it not common sense to everybody that women would never participate in a chess forum! I've met 3 women in my life, and I know for a fact not one of them would join chess.com! Common sense people.

Is there a chance that's just a symptom of confirmation bias, though? There are a lot more free members on this site than paid. So most aborts will come from free members. And the more often it happens, the more you'll remember each time it happens.

Hmm.....maybe....law of averages and all that.
But i get sick to death of people starting daily games and not bothering to make a move, then you have to wait 3 days for the game to abort!
What if i play everyone but set the minimum games played to something like 10.......would i still be discriminating?
