Is There A Way to Check My Progress on Achievements

My understanding of the question was that he was asking if there was some way to view partial progress on incomplete achievements.
In some cases, this is easy. If an achievement says "play 1000 rapid games," it's easy enough to check one's rapid stats to see how many games one has played. If, on the other hand, an achievement says "read 1000 articles," it's not necessarily obvious how to check completion status.
The proposal is presumably to add something like "442/1000" beneath the explanatory text when viewing an achievement's details on the awards page, similar to the way that many MMOs and other games display these sorts of achievements.
