Is there any good player that's barely talented nowadays?

Nowadays people keep saying for nearly all great modern chess players that they are "talented".

Is there really no "Alekhine"-like chess player anymore, who has minimal talent and mostly hard work (at least compared to Capablanca/Carlsen).

until 2300 you can reach with hard work, beyond that then that's just talent

I don't think so. I doubt most people can archieve 2000 FIDE, even with a lot of hard work. Improving beyond that is going to be almost impossible for most people.
