Is this cheating?

My guess is that there is a connection problem. I suppose that there could be a vulnerability of some type on the website, but it is probably more likely that you internet is iffy, like dropping out every once in a while. This would cause the opponents move to never be delivered to your device, and any moves you make may not make it to your opponent's. The clock on your computer would be updated according to the information stored at chess.com. Just a theory, not really claiming to have any inside knowledge or anything.

No, he is not a hacker.

It was my own fault I found out because I saw a Green dot on the Graph and wanted to play instead of waiting awhile longer to connect to somebody or vice versa.

It was some kind of match with extended time per move. I didn't know that, now I do.

If you know of any forum moderator then inform that indivual that I'd like to have this post Deleted as the issue has been resolved.
