5. Qc4 is not a good move. As pointed out earlier, white should play 5. Nc6+ which wins the black queen (note that if black blocks the check with Qe7 white has Nxe7; otherwise white will play Nxd8 next move). 

 

Qc4 works out but only because black plays the horrible move 5. ... d6 when he should play 5. ... d5.
