Is Time a Waste of Chess?

There are an almost unlimited number of possible chess games, but time limits our ability to delve into some of the deeper chess lines and investigate which positions truly are superior lines. We live under finite time constraints, especially in regards to limited human life spans, there is so much chess we will never see, so many wasted potential chess games that will never be experienced because of time.  And beyond our lifespans, time will eventually drive us all towards an entropic end to our universe, where the almost infinite number of chess games will be wasted by time-based constraints. Is time a waste of chess?

Yes, time is most definitely a waste of chess!  We need to use our radio telescopes to transmit the rules of chess to other star systems, so that the search for ultimate chess truth can continue even after the inevitable destruction of Earth.  Tens of thousands of years will be needed to plumb the depths of chess -- we simply don't have enough time.
