I did this twice in one day. So obsessed with my mating line or an opponents move that you miss a move which is the whole objective of the game. At least I can see why i'm as low rated player. Tunnel vision + rushing puts any player down further than they could be. This is my recent game where i missed 26. Be7#

In both games you played nicely and your alternate moves both led to forced mate in any case so I wouldn't be too critical of yourself. Most importantly you are creating these mating threats with good play.
