I think Game 9 proves what a lot of us had been thinking. Anand did not bring his A game. This is to take nothing away from Carlson, his skill and the pressure he applies. Anand just ain't playing like he should. 

In the end, it changes nothing. Anand was a great champion and is a great player. (I'm assuming this is a temporary rough patch.) And Carlson absolutely deserves to win the title.

But it's a shame we couldn't have seen both players at their best.

He played great except for one move... unfortunately that one move was really really bad.
