No. You have to play over the board to build a real FIDE rating.

Chess.com Support can set your rating to one that you ask for.

Chess.com can not set your rating to something different than what you've earned on chess.com. What I suspect they mean is, if you earn a FIDE title, chess.com will add that to your account. Also comes with free diamond membership.

FIDE and chess.com ratings are completely different, so you may find that your 1700 chess.com rating is closer to 1400-1500 OTB.

Finally, there is FIDE Online arena where you can earn a title. Please note that it is not the same as a FIDE title.

Yeah I'm not talking talking about that, i asked if i can get fide playing here or in any other online tournament, people says is not possible, my second question was, once i get real fide elo playing On the board, is there any online tournaments i can play to keep moving forward ?

Well, you can go to Play - Tournaments on chess.com and see which one you are interested in.

Though I think there is some minimum requirement of games played before you can enter and perhaps you can't join tournament until your account is around for some time. For daily chess, it was 5 games, I don't know if that is still the case. Try and see what happens.

In any case, tournaments here and on every other chess site doesn't have anything to do with OTB rating and OTB tournanments.

As I've said, rating here and FIDE or USCF rating have no affect on each other. By playing here, you can only affect chess.com rating in a specific pool.

In order to gain FIDE rating, you have to play tournaments organized by FIDE over the board. No online tournament out there will affect FIDE rating. It doesn't matter if you are 400 or 2 400 rated on chess.com or any other chess website.

yes if you mean for the weird online FIDE arena titles but if you mean actual FIDE then no

After a bit of searching and everything , i realize is possible to earn FIDE ELO online but only if FIDE create an evet who's online, the only other way you have to be recognize by FIDE and play online , is getting a premium account on this website https://chessarena.com/, if u have a tittle your account is free, btw, so you can create an account there, you gonna get a FIDE ID and FOA rate is completely different to a FIDE ELO, but today is the equivalent to play online , at the end of the day, if you want elo have to play on the board till you rank enough to get invite to a big tournaments
