I'm a teacher and currently have 5 students. I'm not the best teacher, and I'm not famous. I don't care about that though. I was wondering how to entertain my students, as they're under the age of 8. Thanks!

What do you teach?

What level are these kids that you teach? Beginners?

Avatar of KingMaster996

Total beginners. I teach chess

Have a look on ChessKids for some ideas. They've got great content for that age. My kids enjoyed the ChessKids lessons and videos. Not suggesting it replaces your teaching, just that it may give you ideas or you may be able to work it into your lessons. Do you have experience of 8 year olds? My guess is lessons 1 hour max and some variety to keep their interest, so perhaps several different 10 or 15 minute activities during the hour. I presume you have some idea of what you will teach them, the order, and at roughly what pace, and then think about how to cover that in a fun way with variety.
