Just man up and accept a draw.

This thread helps--I don't know how to premove on my phone, and I had no idea about the move limit. I haven't learned this yet because I am...well...a bit slow--if you know what I mean. (I wasted most my clock spamming draw offers lol)

So what your saying is, the fact that you took 30 seconds longer in a 3 or 5? minute match should have no meaning at all? I don't wanna be offensive, but this seems like a rather stupid thing to say.. Wanna know why GMs play with much less time against weaker players? Because time matters. Him playing at even strength while taking considerably less time certainly makes him a better bullet/blitz player, so he clearly deserves the win. Maybe if he used those 30 seconds earlier he could have made a winning move, maybe if you had 30 seconds less, you would have blundered a piece. That's what blitz/bullet is about. As mentioned by others, if you don't like this, either play a mode where you get time back for each move made and force a draw, or simply don't play blitz.

We were drawn at move 54 and he had a 20 second advantage, he maintained and gained the on his time advantage mainly do to me spamming draw offers, not knowing there was a move limit without piece capture. Basically I would have drawn if I hadn't been offering draws in confusion over his declining. And then of course I got all pissy and nerd raged a bit.

Also, I love you.

but he DID have 17 seconds to make a mere 4 moves to let it be a draw.

So I am glad I made this post as embarrassing as my little outburst feels presently--because I probably would have gone years not knowing about a move limit. So tyvm!
