Hi,

If I delete my email account, would I still be able to log in through my chess.com account? (Signing in directly with your chess.com username and password)

chess.com doesn't know you deleted the email so that should be fine....you should probably link it to a new email after you log in though

that shouldn't be necessary. changing your email address is very straightforward

Yes, as long as you have a password and aren't logging in with that email. That said, you should disconnect that if you have it connected in settings and if that is your contact email, change to one you currently have.

Not an issue at all. I deleted the email associated with my account after I closed it. When I changed my mind 2 years later and asked for it to be re-opened, I just created a new email account to use. In fact, I don't even think that was necessary, you can login via username instead.

but what happens if the account was linked to my email? would my account be deleted too?

and how to disconnect to my email?

Pretty sure you can't remove your email. You would need to change to a different one.
