Ah, thanks for that- I doubt I myself being able to come up with that, but it is certainly imaginable that it could indeed have been solved long before computers ;)
I'm guessing black just plays back and forth between g8 and h7 with the king in that position, or if the queen plays to h5 then Bishop to the corner?

While practicing endgames with my friend, he managed to get this fortress when he played the side with bishop and knight. We are both 1200 players
It really depends on the position but generally speaking, queen > knight and bishop but Queen < rook, knight and bishop.
This is normally a surprisingly easy win. The bishop and knight cannot sustain a permanent barrier to the attacking queen while they are being harassed by the queen, and the winning process is just pushing the defending king to the edge of the board. I played the engine on the 1700 level and I won easily.
So I was interested in whether a queen vs bishop+knight with no pawns or anything on the board was a draw, so I gave it to an engine, and well I'll just post the picture
after a little while (getting up to depth 31) the evaluation dropped significantly to M17, but I just had to share the supposed M481
