All that matters, for anything below master for sure, is that the opening chosen is playable and understandable. Rarely is the game lost out of the opening (against similarly rated opponents anyway), so play what you like

I think kings indian opening is really bad. there are so many better variations for black such as nimzo indian that are far superior in my opinion
