Please note that you must not donate, that's not the main reason i created this topic, the main reason is to look if there is any interest of watching while they play, because as i wrote me myself will donate a lot of money for this to happen, so i don't want to do it for nothing.

Great idea. However, both youtubers have an educational goal with their channel. Why would they charge for a highly desired match, benefitting themselves and their respective channels? If they were to play a(nother) game, other youtubers like chessexplained and onlinechesslessons.net will take note and analyze their games.

Great question! - Because if i remember correctly KingsCrusher said he will not play ChessNetwork unless there is a profit to be gained, and that's what i'm trying to make real!

Great Idea, the reason for this is because me myself and a lot of others would like to see KingsCrusher & ChessNetwork in a friendly match.

I will probably go in with about 100$ myself in the price pot, and mabye more depending on how much the want, and how much donations i will get for this.

(I understand a lot of people want to donate, but wont trust me, and i have all understanding for that, but as i said, i can't do more then tell you guys I'm really serious about this.)

I think we  would be interested but a few would like to donate.You know,people like free stuf.You idea is correct ,they should have two hours and in the end maybe they should analyze their game.An advice for you:If you decide to do it just don't give them much money,they are not great super Gms who will lighten us with their chess wisdom and after being their loyal followers  for four years we probaly Deserve this as a gift from them.Anyway I would like chessexplained as a commentator :DD

I am not thinking about 1000$, but if people actualy donated, they see that this is what we need, and this is a fun thing, simply entertainment for all of us others, and i hope they don't think this is some kind of real fight for us to see who beats who, this is as i said, entertainment. :)

if kingcrusher insists on playing only for profit dont invite em cause all the other players I mention seem to generally want to help others and have you seen a couple of kingcrusher vidz lately he's really not commentating like he use to TheChessNetwork plays really fast games too but he still trys his very best I feel to analyze the most imporant parts and give his overall ideas on the games he plays.

Make the tournament for the youtubers a little gamble say entrance fee of $3 and whoever wins the  tournament gets there money back plus all the money of the entrance fee from the other participants this should get kingcrushers attention and also makes things very competitive since the players will know that ONLY first place gets money. Also 2hrs might be a little long so to reduce the chances of cheating a bit the time controls should be like G/60min plau 3 sec increment .

I like the idea, but I worry about the use of engines. I'm not sure how honorable these two are. I would presume they are honest, but I would wonder how to prepare for the slight chance one or both would be tempted to "get a little help."

I would donate to this. And I would enjoy watching a livestream/ustream of it.
