knight's gambit??

Sort:
knonk

I have been sacrificing my knight early in the game for a pawn that has to be taken by the opponent's king.  I am been very successful when I do this.  Is this because of the level of competition?  or is this a good exchange?

Example please??

If it is something like this, then surely because of the level of play.

The level of competition is to blame. This sort of sacrifice is a huge blunder.

It's not a good exchange. With good play from your opponent you'll just lose in the endgame.
