If you suspect everyone is cheating, your chess will never improve. You think that the reason you lost was not because you made mistakes and learn from them, but that your opponent is using an engine, meaning you play the same way with no improvement. You hurt yourself more when you think your opponent is a cheater. Only be suspicious if it's one of those obvious cheaters who have a 90% win rate with a 2 week old account. Thinking everyone is cheating is not a good mindset for your chess.

Obviously report obvious, but if there is no hard evidence you can see from their play or profile, don't report.

speaking of good moves, I made a brilliant move on monday
it was an unranked game tho, but it was pretty funny how it happened. I tried to bait him into taking my knight so that hopefully I could win more material

Even if they are, how do children benefit from 5h1tposting on these forums, how does that improve their chess skill? Uhm isn't forums created for chess topics and communication only? Improving chess skills is not discussed or mentioned here For their development if would be better to restrict their access to chess.com. Plus this forum is simply not safe. Yesterday I've seen how explicit content was removed by mods after 4 hours. 4 hours that was publicly available. That was daytime. And during the night they are sleeping or something, so some posts get deleted only after 8 hours. No phone verification, I'm not even talking about ID verification. This is not a safe place for kids. Chess.com made their choice - they've created chesskid.com. Lichess has "kid mode" that a parent can enable for their kid. At last the only thing that you said that is correct Here you don't have anything like that. A kid can go to the profile and enable chats back and chat in games. Chats get deleted after a game. For profile pics there is no pre-moderation. Thats why report buttons are there duh This is such a low standard.You mean lack of staffs yes why not apply for one then? No wonder this website is banned in most schools. Breh who plays chess or discuss chess on school? School subjects are different from chess
Chess.com must also create sites for boomers like you calling it chessboomers

18 and older is not necessarily a boomer.
Report button is not a preventative measure. You clearly don't understand how to organize a safe space for kids (probably because you're a kid).
P. S. Chesskid is not banned in schools and they actually have a grant program for schools, any principal can apply and open a chess class, every kid will get free premium membership.

The man has gotten old. He is not the man he used to be. Too much vodka and cig changed him.
@XPCultivator what a nonsense, this "old" man did not even hit 50 years and he does not drink alcohol at all since 2005 due to certain medical condition. And few months ago this "old" man defeated Jose Martinez Alcantara (aka jospem, aka speed-demon) IRL in Blitz.
jospem tried hard to prepare and he is very young and very fast, but somehow that "old" man was at least just as strong

That’s because he was a world champ. Been following him since I was a kid. I know how good he is. It's just that he isn’t as calm and collected as he used to be. He used to have the highest level patience out of any other players. This is not the man I used to know.
Basket, what xp says is true, he’s great at chess but his levels of patience and other skills lowered over the years, he’s not who he was. Don’t die on this hill
Hard to be patient when such unfair things happen in chess world. His sharp actions are reasonable in this situation, something soft won't work, no one would notice. He got attention, that's already good as first step. More things will come, we will see, I know that he has a lot of data and analysis done by professional mathematicians and statisticians and he even has a secret website with personal investigation case for each player, including AI eye-tracking heatmaps for streams (not only for Naroditsky).

You're idolizing the wrong person that's why you can't improve properly on chess just look at how serious and focused this old guy on ACCUSATIONS he forgot how to play chess seriously that's making him 🤡 in this site in other peoples perspectives
