go to the team home and look at the right box which says "Group Menu"
it has a X in a red circularish figure which says beside it "quit group"

Go into the group itself, on the right side menu options panel there is a link to click that says "Quit Group". Click on that :)
Does anyone know if there is any mechanism which enables a team member to quit the team?
I'd really appreciate info on this.
