In a video by Brazilian GM Supi, the best Brazilian player at the moment, he gave some ideas and tips that I found quite constructive and would like to share.
The First, "Direction is more important than speed", that is, it is better to go slowly in the right direction than to be in a hurry and go quickly in the wrong direction.
Another lesson from GM Supi was that a GM, due to his strength, can "see" plays and mistakes that for someone of the same level and playing strength, may seem to be a "reasonable" play and not see it as a mistake and not exploit the defects and weaknesses of the position.
And there is another Brazilian GM, GM Evandro Barbosa, who in a "speed run" series was surprised by some of his opponent's moves, especially the "c8 Tower".
