what do you mean i'm asking a question is there something wrong with that?

EmTat

How can that even happen?

EmTat

You're trolling.

lanaiya_A

no it's just a question like if you were playing with someone like in person not online

It can't happen because the player currently moving cannot move a piece that is defending his king from checkmate.

okay nice to know

Whoever mated their opponent first wins, if the other player was unable to escape the mate. Game over.

Idk it's been a while since it happened to me it would take too long to find. I am very sure that it ends in a draw however.

No. If A puts B's King in check B is REQUIRED by the rules of chess to get the King out of check by one of three ways: 1) the King moves to a square where it isn't in check, 2) another of B's pieces or pawns is placed between the King and the attacker, or 3) the King captures the attacker. Although it's very rare, method 2) can both shield B's King *and* put A's King in check. But if B can't do 1), 2), or 3) then the game is over. A has won.
