Live Chat Moderators

I apparently can't talk about what I want to in chat while watching live broadcasts, so I'll try to speak my mind here.  The following rules are copied from the chess.com/live webpage: (it is a complete list of the rules, nothing has been ommited.)

We want everyone to enjoy the broadcast. In order for this we ask a few simple things.

Don't spam the chatroom, remember you're not the only person there. It spoils it for others.

No All caps.

No abusive language or attacks on others.

No posting/spamming of group links.

Enjoy the broadcast and have fun :)

I made several posts, not a single one of which even flirted with breaking a rule, but a couple of them were deleted then I was kicked out of chat. No reason was given for getting kicked or deleted.  No name of the person who decided I should be kicked.

Okay, moderator, fine.  Flex your ego.  But 15 minutes later I can't get back in?

Why does this matter to anyone?  It doesn't. But...

It seems like the USCL broadcasts are a great way to draw people to chess.com.  If you've got them watching, then a chat room where they could feel like their becoming part of the comunity would be a great idea.  Chess.com has done this.

Another great idea would be to allow them to actually chat, in the chat room.  If they violate, even a little bit, a posted rule, then kick them from the chat room.  Heck, take their birthday away from them, I don't care, they broke the rules.

I didn't break the rules.  I got kicked.  I'm just one schlub, but I'm a dedicated chess.com schlub who's going to give a major competitor a shot with their 1 month free trial.

This will probably get deleted too, it probably violates some unwritten rule that I should magically know about.  I'll find someplace where people will read it though.

For fairness sake, the comment that got me kicked was:

"If the moderators delete this comment, my mother will die."  I may have provoked them a bit after other comments were deleted.

Love you guys.  ;-)
