London Chess Classic - Super 16 Rapid 2013

Tuning into site, I'm surprised to hear one of the GMs call the Gelfand - Polgar position may be a draw. I can't imagine black holding that.
Transmission broke, live video doesn't show the boards, clock broke, rapid instead of classical, no success this far :-)

enjoyed the McShane- Anand
someone asked in chessbomb if I was pdela from chess.com? same handle not coincidence
is anybody here?

Here's the Anand win--it's been a long time since he's won a chess game
i think that was the problem when facing Carlsen he had forgotten how to win but Anand is the quickest thinker of his generation, probably will have some critic tourneys same as Kramnik and Topalov after losings world matches, but I give him chances in rapid if he is focus
That may well have been the worst rapid game Anand ever played though, it's not often he is so lost so early even if McShane blundered a lot towards the end, but such things do happen with shorter time controls.

it was too sharp and McShane just collapsed because of time

Kramnik won again! Brilliant middlegame!
It's a shame Svidler doesn't have the strength to spot a 1 move combination!

well, it was a former WC against Jonathan Rowson, with my respects to Rowson
