Loosing on time

I had a weird expirience, I had made my turn and was waiting for opponent to make his. I waited for a long time, and suddently porgramm says my time is over :o   Does this happen often? Bug?

lol I played Qc5 after Nf3... and its not registered, but it was on my live screen :)

I played for 10 min match and about 4 mins into the game message that I lost couse my time run out, how is this possible, what am I missing? !!!!
