losing games to my own bad play

Not sure where you'd find it bud - you've got the 👑 flair next to your name though so I'd say you're ready to rock.

I wouldn't worry about wasting people's time in the 15 minute games. If people weren't willing to commit to a game for upwards of 30 minutes then they'd pick a shorter game. And from your opponents perspective, if they were to beat you in 10 moves I'm sure they would be pleased with the win and not at all feel like it was a waste of time.

i appreciate the gift and will try to use when i figure out how to use it -- right now things are getting much worse even my puzzles i am slipping each time i try 7/8 of these --- in my games after moves 7 /8 now i seem to lose it down from at least move 10 so have to do something there 100 is a terrible place to be in ---- ok back at games for a little while --till i figure which is the best thing to do first with this extra premium status i have been bestowed with

LOSTATCHESS

my 2/1 games are improving why i don't really know but iam at 170 plus tonight and that has been months since i got that high from 100 --- maybe its the boost of someone caring and giving a month premium upgrade that inspired me -- sure did get me out the dumps thats for sure-- so coupel more games then call it a night meds are starting to kick in

tuesday afternnoon went about as well as the morning more losses in row than wins so almost at 100 again in 2/1 game --- watched some lessons and played a few puzzles but nothing transpired to change the misfortune of my play today meds kicking in so after nap will try again-- one lesson then 6 puzzles then one game -- and then repeat see what that does

well tried to implement a lesson i saw about knight openings -- was interesting but failed to help me get any further deep into the game than what i was using before -- i will keep trying to use this knight opening from the lesson ---few more games see how it goes ----down to nearly 100 so nothing loss -- did about a dozen puzzles last night and few this morning -- got my score over 800 so i guess thats good i don't really know if that score is showing me doing well or not -- back to a few more games before meds kick in

LOSTATCHESS

time to give it a break lost 9 games in row mainly in tournament 2/1 and even though i played 350 -500 players -- i still i did not preform well -- even with all the losses - couldn't get anything past move 10 before i ran aground and got over whelmed - maybe later tonight or even after my afternnoon med nap which is taking over as we speak -- i will study new opening and try to emulate it

LOSTATCHESS

TONIGHT --wed nite lost three won two -- still not getting a good opening tried three different ones none worked -- will try one more -- then its off to lala land as nite time meds kicking in

LOSTATCHESS

THURSDAY AFTERNNON-more losses than wins three wins in a row followed by four losses in row

seems they let you win a couple to boost your self up then crush you right after -- it so frustrating some times ---- watched two lessons today and did about six puzzles -- thought it was helping but at 133 it sure is not -- i keep trying the lessons and the puzzles but really when is it going to improve me ?????----- when???? maybe i go up to 3 min games from 2/1 games to see what happens next

FRIDAY MORNING- trying ten min games today to see if the longer play helps -- will let you know this afternoon

LOSTATCHESS

i also while i have free premium for a month -- i have started to review my games and this seems to be a helpful thing after i lose i review and with the instructions from this voice teacher i see where exactly i went wrong -- they only thing is it seems every move i make is wrong according to the voice teacher so it gets a bit aggravating to listen to after about the third game -- but i will persevere with it also it tells me where my opponent goes wrong so it doubly hard on the ears about so much wrongness in moves -- but i will con't on

LOSTATCHESS

10 min games are going better than i expected -- with a couple of draws and wins so will con't with time element for now

The main value of longer games (like 10 minute instead of 2 minute) is that they provide more opportunity to learn new skills than quick games do.

... then you can apply those new skills even to your quick games.

LOSTATCHESS

yes i see that -- seems review f these game shows me where i go wrong which is always at move 7/8/9 it seems -- but the premium analysis of my game - only shows me what i did wrong as also my opponent- it does not show me what i have should have done right

lost all games this morning against 100-120 players so it was me that @#$%^ucked up each time -- time to study the review and see what i can get out if it

see you later

LOSTATCHESS

i have reviewed all my games these last couple of days -- and one glaring thing sticks out when looking at these and listening to the teacher explain -- every single one of moves except my opening move and when i castle is wrong - seems the teacher constantly just tells me every move i make is wrong -- this is getting very frustrating-- what should i do to at least get a right move in i guess maybe i should play bots and turn the help feature on and see what it saids yes thats my next action after i lose a couple games and get to 100 again going to play bots

LOSTATCHESS

sunday morning usually my best time to play- well not today lost all games -- yeps getting down to the bottom again--100 here we come -- i have to review my games it funny but i already know when i make a bad move i just do it anyways cause in most situations its one of two moves i can make and i seem to always pick the wrong one -- which then leads to another bad mistake and another etc etc -- its that first bad move i have to correct always seems to be move 5 or 6 that leads to my downfall later on - humm couple more games for today maybe this evening i get to play more i have to take my meds later because of the time change so i stay awake a little longer ---- i hope

LOSTATCHESS

after reviewing each one of my games -- i seem to have the first four moves down then it goes haywire after that -- with the review teacher -- i go off the rails now at move 6/7 -- will try a couple more i do like this review feature -- just wish i did not have to at the end of my free month a generous person here gifted me ends- go back to nothing but it just cost too much to play at premium on a fixed pension -- i really don't know how all these Indian guys can afford it - oh well thats not for a little while before it ends -- maybe something will come up and i can continue --- really don't know why its costs so much to run this site -- couldn't we have ads like other free gaming sites do-- but to each his own -- everyone's game plan is different my is just being poor now when i was young i should have saved or invested more or robbed a bank ot two when i was young --- hindsight is such a bugger

LOSTATCHESS

too many losses tonight at 5 min games -- well everyone was a loss i sure at some point those reviewing the games we help but just have not see any result yet except that i sort of now when i make a bad move thats it over from that point on -- one bad move i think and i should give up move on -- but i don't -- i wait till i have twp three blunders in a row then i resign -- i have to stop that by for tonight

A thing you need to work on is that you move too fast. Some moves in 1 second, most after about 3 seconds. At your level thats not enough to make sure you're not blundering. The blunder checks:

1.After opponents move, make sure if he is now sttacking something or not

2. Before you make your move: make sure you dont place the piece in a position it can be taken for free.

These cannot be done in 1 second which means you arent doing it. Take your time with every move.
