It quite silly because it looks as though our champion and the infamous draw master are implying that chess is an implication of white-skinned people's superiority against the dark-skinned ones, and that has to be changed. The ad is a bad idea. I don't blame Carlsen and Giri, though. Chess is their beloved game. They looked at the ad with a different perspective or view, obviously.

Identity politics fuel hate. A white man snapped a couple days ago in New Zealand because white people have been massively insulted and demonized for the last couple years in the media. Why do you think hate will solve the racism issue?

I do criticize political measures if I think they make the problem they claim to address actually worse.

Thing is, if poverty, dependency and racism actually disappeared the left would go bankrupt immediately so they have to keep these issues alive in subtle ways (like cultivating jealousy, have people focus on made up problems, narratives etc).
