Mega Database x Opening Encyclopedia

Hi,

I have Chessbase (Mega Database 2016) and I want to study deeper some opening lines. I saw in Chessbase website the product Opening Encyclopedia 2015, and I wonder if it offers further explanation on openings (such as plans, strategies), or if Chessbase + Mega Database would hold the same information.

In other words, I would like to know if Opening Encyclopedia offers anything more or anything different than Chessbase + Mega Database, and why would someone buy those two products.

Thanks.
